Pastor Kyles is a family man. He is married to LaKesha Kyles and is the father to Kayla Kyles. His personal philosophy is "If I can help someone along the way then my living would not be in vain."
At the early age of seven, Renaldo J. Kyles would sit in the pulpit every Sunday at Centennial MBC, with his pastor (the late) Dr. William Hudson. This continued until many complaints from members to have his parents remove him. But, Elder Kyles knew something that they did not know and on November 3rd, 1993, God put him back in the pulpit and from that day, he has been preaching and teaching the Word of God.
Pastor Kyles is a leader that is widely respected and revered for his BIG GENEROUS HEART, leadership, vision, dedication to teaching God's children, and his holistic approach to social changes in the community.
Pastor Kyles has been in ministry for 21years. Faith leader, community activist, are just two words that describe Pastor Kyles. He has been blessed to travel across the country preaching and teaching the Word of God. He has served on many religious boards; such as Pastor Clay Evans and AARC. Pastor Kyles has organized block clubs, as well as community marches against violence. He has served for the past 5 ½ years as Vice Pastor of Mt. Hermon Church, East Chicago, IN. In August 2014, God birthed Kingdom Builders Church (KBC) and on September 21, 2014, KBC celebrated its inaugural service under the leadership, guidance, and vision of Pastor Kyles.
Currently, Pastor Kyles serves as Director of Faith Based Initiatives for Chicago Public Schools. In that capacity, he is responsible for working with the faith community city-wide developing programs, providing training opportunities, and support to combat the violence that often plagues the City of Chicago. A key component of this role is to provide support and guidance to families whom have lost children
to death and often to violence. One of the most notable programs is the Safe Haven Program. Under his leadership, over 300 church partners have been established.
